First Day of Fall…Or Winter in Wyoming?
Tomorrow is the first day of fall, but for areas of northwest Wyoming it looks like they have already jumped to winter.
The national weather service has winter advisories out Yellowstone and the Absaroka, Teton and Gros Ventre Mountains.
Yellowstone National Park, has received up to a foot of snow in the last several days.
The snowfall has caused slick road conditions in Yellowstone, where some roads were closed earlier this week.
About a foot of snow has fallen in the higher elevations in the Grand Targhee Ski Resort area.
A 25-mile section of US 212 over Beartooth Pass, northwest of Cody was closed Thursday due to winter conditions.
